Getting Started with Sitebar |

| The first step to use our online bookmark manager is to Sign Up. Signing Up is a one-time activity. Once you sign up, you will have a personal account, including a private storage for your bookmarks. 1. Click on any Sign Up link to open a dialog shown on the picture. 2. Language - choose a language. SiteBar will switch to the selected language after login. Language selection can be changed also anytime later in the User Settings. 3. E-mail - your e-mail address serves as a user id, you will use it for logging to SiteBar. You can use your nickname instead of your e-mail address, if you prefer so. However, providing an e-mail address can be an advantage especially in case you forget your password and request its reset. 4. Password - enter a password for your account. 5. Repeat Password - repeat the password to avoid typos. 6. Real Name - enter your name, your bookmark tree will use this name. 7. Press button [Submit]. You might want to check our Terms of Service before you do so. 8. You will be logged in. We do our best to keep users satisfied. Please let us anytime know how to improve our service! |

Importing your Bookmarks |

| Importing your existing bookmarks to your Sitebar account is easy. SiteBar can import bookmarks in a variety of formats. In general you need to export your bookmarks first and store them in a file. See a short introduction "How to export Firefox bookmarks" or "How to export IE favorites" if you need help with exporting links from one of these browsers. How to import bookmarks 1. You have to be logged in to SiteBar to access and manage your online bookmarks. 2. Right click on a SiteBar folder where you want to import your bookmarks. A context menu will be displayed. 3. Select context menu item Import Bookmarks. An Import Bookmarks dialog shown below will be displayed. 4. Target Folder Name - this field is read only, you can verify which folder your bookmarks will be imported into. 5. Bookmark File - browse for the file containing the bookmarks you have exported from your browser earlier. 6. Select Input Format - SiteBar knows how to import bookmarks from various formats. In most cases should Auto detection work just fine. 7. Rename Duplicate Links - leave this check box empty to skip duplicate bookmark names while importing. 8. Codepage - in case you don't know which codepage was used during bookmark export, choose this default option. 9. Link Capacity - this field is read only, a maximum number of allowed links depends on the SiteBar membership you have chosen. 10. Press button [Submit]. |

Integrating with your Browser |

| SiteBar can be integrated to many browsers and even some 3rd party software. See screenshots with various examples of SiteBar usage in Firefox and Internet Explorer. See also instructions for recommended way of using SiteBar with Firefox and SiteBar with Internet Explorer. 1. Click on the item Open Integrator in the User menu. 2. A SiteBar Integrator will be shown, displaying information of how to integrate and use SiteBar. |
